Fender Fender makes all types of 6-strings, but Leo Fender is for sure known for designing one of the first commercially successful solid-body electric bass guitars. Rickenbacker They are not and were really never a 'player' in the acoustic guitar game, but putting the world's first electric guitars into general production in 1932, I had to mention them here. If you are a fan of The Beatles this is what they were making there sounds with in the 1960's. Alright, so weather you want to start the next big rock band, perform at open mic nights, or just learn how to play a few tunes at the camp fire, learning the guitar can and will be very rewarding for that creative juice we all have a little bit of inside us.
